Great place for a large family! Has all the amenities for a large group of people. Lovely view and enjoyed how the house had many areas to relax at.
We had a very special stay here with family to celebrate my husband’s 75th birthday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday there were very windy and of course Monday was perfect. We had our children and some grandies stay on the Saturday night for dinner and it was a truly memorable weekend. Moore River is a wonderful place to stay and only an hour from home not 3 or 4 hours away like Dunsborough or Margaret River. Visited the Bowling Club and would have loved to have a meal there but it was closed on Sunday. I didn’t bring my hairdryer there as I thought one would be there ! Disaster! Hence, my hair looked horrible for the course of this little holiday. I would recommend this house to others for sure!
Loved our stay at Pelican Shack, such a great location with magnificent views. A short walk to the river inlet/beach, cafe and general store. Everything we needed and more was provided for at this beautiful accomodation. Suited our group of family friends perfectly with lots of space inside and outdoors for 6 adults and 4 kids. We look forward to staying at Pelican Shack again.

Several years ago I was looking for a place to buy a holiday house. After a lot of research and looking I found that Moore River was the place for me. What I Loved most about Moore River is that it’s a short distance from Perth making it easy for my wife and I to escape to the pelican shack for a peaceful break. I also have 3 kids that are always going for a trip to Guilderton with there friends and always coming back smiling. Hoping to share this experience at the beach house, we have recently fully renovated the house to accommodate for all needs when wanting to have a care free holiday.
