Words can’t express how amazing our stay was at Maria’s place. Check-in can be a little tricky but just make sure to give Maria a call ahead of time and she will guide you to your check-in. Once we got in, the place was beautiful. Very spacious and the yard was HUGE with just a lot of different vibes to experience. The couches at the entrance were dreamy. We just stayed there and slept and watched the chickens and the hens and enjoy the breeze. The star of the place is William and staff. William is amazing and we fell in love with his hospitality. This place is a little off the grid from Havana and William made sure that we had everything that we needed. The local restaurant Taramar had the most amazing lobster and fish and man, we wish we were still there. William we love you bro and wish you the best. Thank you Maria for having us stay at your beautiful home.

tuvimos una estancia increíble en casa de María. se nota el cariño y la atención en cada detalle. casa amplia, bien decorada y cómoda. la cocina está tremendamente equipada con todo lo que puedas necesitar. llegada fácil y anfitriones muy amables con buenas recomendaciones locales. volveremos siempre que podamos, una gema unica. totalmente recomendable!

Maria's place is definitely perfect: I was looking for peace and the beautiful energy of Caribbean Sea, and that's exactly what I found in this stunning house. Maria's brother is the nicest and friendly person, he has a lot of good information about the area, restaurants and what to do. He took care of every detail full time. My family, friends and me enjoyed a lot. We can't wait to come back.

The house is nice, but it is surrounded by a lot of abandoned houses. Make sure the front gate knows each time you are coming - they tried to deny us access whenever we left and came back. Not much to do in the area - will need a car or access to taxi to access other places and food. However, it is close to the beach. Also noteworthy, you are not renting the entire home - the hosts are staying in a section of the house. There are also chickens and roosters on the property - beware they may cause damage in the house that the host will try to charge you for. There is only AC upstairs. Listing says internet is provided, however it only worked for one day.
