Overall a good short stay, place is good enough for a night or two due to size which is to be expected from the listing! Check in went pretty easy, barely any on street parking but we found the Days Inn very quickly as per Sam’s recommendation and I even got a free park pass from the friendly front desk staff member. It’s been a few years since we’ve been in this area of downtown Ottawa and the population of it has changed quite drastically. We were fine with it as we’ve encountered a lot of people from this particular group, but just be aware of all the fighting and yelling that people do to one another. My only recommendation would be to just make sure that your door is locked behind you if/when you leave as it doesn’t close completely to lock! Bed was very comfortable and there was a fan in the closet that we were able to use as it was a bit warm before we went to bed. Overall a great time and will be looking to book again when we are in the area in the future.

As expected for cost and location. Just passing through and it served our needs... and dog friendly.

Loved the location. Walking distance from the Rideau Centre mall and Byward Market. The apartment itself was underwhelming. Some outlets don't work, cupboards not organized, and a used kcup was stored with the unused ones. It was pretty challenging climbing two flights of stairs with a baby stroller. However, I slept really well and I had everything I needed for a fun and safe weekend in Ottawa for me and my baby.

Everything was great at Sam's place, days inn parking was abit further then I would have liked but there is other public parking closer as well

All good. Expect there is a construction beside the building. So expect to wake up early from the noise. Otherwise, all good.
