No lo recomiendo para nada, muy bonito la área de la piscina y la vista, pero fuera de eso es un lugar súper incómodo de estar. Iniciemos con la persona que nos asistió vía mensajes (Anabel) dicha persona no tiene ni un poco de cordura al hablar con los huéspedes, es mal hablada y no tiene servicio al cliente, a lo igual que la persona que nos recibe allá. El lugar: las habitaciones sin aires acondicionados, unos abanicos que no eran suficientes, un sin números de bichos raro en la casa, la nevera no enfriaba, las camas súper duras, y agregándole que se fue la energía eléctrica, lo que duramos un tiempo sin luz en la casa. Para subir a la casa literal es una loma, lo que se te hará difícil si anda en un vehículo bajito. Si tiene la oportunidad de ir a otro lugar que no sea este, pues hazlo.

The view was absolutely gorgeous. The access to the house is super difficult. Really steep in our Kia Sorento struggled but we made it. might be easier in a smaller car. The. bathrooms and bedrooms were very nice as well. The local guy was so kind and very responsive to all our needs.

We were a bit worried before arrival because one of the two reviews here ("Stephanie") was pretty bad. We were all the more pleased when we were able to form our own impression. The house is new and well equipped, the infinity pool is awesome and the terrace has a fantastic view of the bay and the sea. Because of the location on the top of the mountain, you don't need air conditioning, there is usually a light wind. All 3 rooms have a sea view, the two upstairs also have their own small balcony. Punta Balandra is located between Samana, Las Galeras and Playa Rincon (one of the most beautiful beaches on the island). So - yes, the location is remote, but still perfect. Communication with the host (Daniel) via Whats Ap worked wonderfully, on site Jim was always approachable (also via WA). This was perhaps the nicest AirBnB of the 6 places we booked in the Dominican Republic - excellent value for money. PS: Yes - the driveway is extremely steep and takes some getting used

Need a good vehicle to get there, the bed is very hard, need to pay money when you get there. Sheets and towels are no good. You have nothing to do in this place only be in the pool and it was raining the whole weekend and you can hear really loud music until 2 o 3 am. Did-not like the service I was provided, the women’s that was helping us was always on bad mood like if I was bordering her I was not happy at all
