This is a remote place, off the road. A very beautiful place. Everyone there was extra nice and helpful. There are many beautiful trails to hike, streams and a river to swim. Idalia will cook traditional meals for you(best friend chicken I have ever eaten), for very fair prices. There is also a shared kitchen (with a refrigerator)that is will equipped, with an outdoor pizza oven, and grill area. Bring food if you plan on cooking. There is a public area with excellent WIFI, but outside of that area coverage was a little difficult. A great time to put down your phones and enjoy nature and detox from Tiktoc. It's very safe. We did see howler monkeys, and many different birds, including some toucans. If you are expecting the "Four Seasons Hotel", this is not it. If you want an experience like you have probably never had before, this is it. It is one of the nicest places me and my wife have ever stayed at. Tim and Gladys

We enjoyed our stay and did some wonderful hiking and swimming in the river that crosses the property. We enjoyed birdwatching and the lively howler monkeys. The treehouse is well set up, very comfortable and good value. I’ve spent quite a bit of in tropical forests around the world working in nature-based tourism and this is a well-priced place to get a taste of the tropical rainforest. One thing that surprised me was how noisy the cicadas were. Luckily we had ear plugs and they quiet down at night. Also, do note that the water pool in the photos is not available in the dry season, but it is a 15 minute walk to a wonder swimming hole in a pristine river that crosses the property.

An sich war alles super. Es ist eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mitten in der Natur und das Gelände ist auch wunderschön. Allerdings ist der Weg dorthin nicht für ein "normales" Auto geeignet. Es muss nicht unbedingt ein 4WD sein, aber etwas höher sollte es auf jeden Fall sein, sonst setzt man schon das ein oder andere mal auf. Die andere Sache ist der Pool, der in der Trockenzeit scheinbar nicht gefüllt ist. Er wurde zwar aus der Beschreibung rausgenommen, aber die Bilder sind immer noch irreführend.

Wer abseits der bekannten Wege eine ganz besondere Bleibe im Dschungel sucht, wird hier sehr glücklich sein! Das Baumhaus war phantastisch, das Essen wurde extra für uns gekocht und war sehr lecker! Es gibt gut ausgeschilderte Wanderwege zum Fluss, Wasserfall, Aussichtspunkt und durch die Kaffeeplantagen. Was hier geschaffen wurde, ist wirklich bewundernswert. Wir waren mit Baby hier und auch das wurde sehr herzlich berücksichtigt. Ich wünschte, wir hätten länger bleiben können!

✨️Wilma's tree house is a must do stay & experience ✨️ this artfully crafted treetop cabin is Awesome. Its perched on 4 trees overlooking their lake & natural pool. Just steps from the shared kitchen, campfire and several hiking trails. I was able to park closeby & all the windows had new mosquito screens. I slept very well to all the Amazing sounds of the forest (a cacophony of crickets, hawler monkys & more). note: the bathroom is conveniently up in the tree house but the shower is located below the house. There's good electricity in the tree house but wifi is accessible in the reception house. note: you're in a forest so bring bug spray(I didn’t need it but another girl did), Sensible trail shoes and cooking supplies to make your own meals. Confirm before if you need help with the outdoor pizza oven, and if the natural pool is open, it was dry season & it was temporarily out of commission. ✨️Wilma is a Wonderful host & I highly recommend this stay & overall lovely experience✨
