No Wi-Fi. Poor phone signal. Taxis, food delivery won’t come. No running water for most of our stay. Oneway long dirty, rock and dirt road. House is full with live and dead bugs, ants, spiders, cockroaches. Multiple bedding had stains. Host followed us around for hours in the city plaza, asked my mom on multiple coffee dates, the restaurant owner noticed the suspicious behavior and drove us home to keep us safe. Takes 3 hours to fill and warm the jacuzzi. Bugs will come into the Jacuzzi. When you arrive to the home, you have to go up a very steep driveway, which cars are scared to even go up on. This is the only way to get in and out of the house. The houses nearby were having parties, home is not quiet and relaxing. There are no fans or AC in the house, it’s extremely hot. If you open up a window to let some air in, you will get more mosquitoes inside. We booked for 4 nights, but the home and the stay was so bad and scary that we had to cut it down to 2, it’s truly unlivable.

Beautiful house very comfortable for my group of 8. Yesid was a great host very communicative and helpful. The house has beautiful views of the mountains and lake and its only 3min drive to El Peñol and 7min drive to the beautiful town of Guatapé.

The property is simply gorgeous. I could sit outside and enjoy the views for days. Tons of seating outside and the hot tub is huge. There are beautiful fresh flowers throughout the house to match the flowers throughout the property. There are 4 bedrooms - 1 downstairs and 3 upstairs. 2 upstairs bedrooms have a double bed and 1 upstairs bedroom as 2 twins. The downstairs bedroom has 3 twins. We were able to get lots of recommendations for how to get to the rock/to town, restaurants, etc. the host also organized a boat tour for us that was around 45 minutes long and took us through the water. We were also able to check out late which was really helpful. There was a mixup with checkin, so we ended up sitting outside for an hour and a half before we could go inside. There’s no indoor living space with couches/chairs, just the large kitchen table.

Hermosa casa, es enorme y todos los espacios muy limpios y organizados. La cocina tenia todo lo que pudieramos necesitar en cuanto a utensilios. Ubicada con una vista hermosa del embalse y acceso directo al agua. Al lado hay una empresa de actividades de agua, que fue super conveniente porque programamos kayak, jetsky y nos metimos al embalse varios dias. El jacuzzi fue increible, super calientito y grande, lo prendimos todos los dias. Nos encanto absolutamente todo! Lo unico que hay que tener en cuenta es que la entrada es por un camino destapado entonces tal ves se requieren buenos carros.Lo bueno es que la parte destapada no es muy larga y esta a ~10min de Guatape.

even better than the pictures! I've stayed in 4 places in guatape and is is by FAR the best. HIGHLY recommend
