Die Unterkunft hat einen herausragenden Blick über den Pazifik, das ist schon einmalig. Jade, unsere Betreuerin vor Ort, hat uns professionell und immer sehr freundlich unterstützt. Das war toll. Die Architektur und das Desgin des Hauses ist sehr modern und schön, es geht allerdings ein wenig die Verbindung zur Natur verloren. Es kommt somit darauf an, was man möchte :-) Leider fehlen auch ein paar nützliche Einrichtungen, wie z.B. Grill oder Liegen zum Sonnen. Etwas störend war der Lärm der Straße. Das Haus liegt oberhalb einer befahrenen Straße, deren Geräusche man leider mehr als die Naturgeräusche hört. Menschen, die geräuschempfindlich sind, sollten dies beachten.

We stomped ~30 ants in one bedroom before we went to bed on night 1. On morning 1, we woke up to small mites (??? not sure what they were) on my husband's toiletry kit & 2 giant cockroaches in the kitchen sink. We were then accused of bringing the bugs over from our last stay when this house clearly has a bug issue (they spray for bugs 2x a day & we could see where the ants and mites were entering through cracks). We informed the host of the bugs, and a cleaner came that morning to clean up the dead ants / spray. We asked for another space to stay but nothing was available. When we returned after the cleaners came by, the bluetooth speaker we noticed that morning was missing. We informed the host. We were then accused of stealing the speaker, and the host even sent us a request for money! Terrible customer service. A crib is only available at an extra charge (which is not advertised). There is no high chair. Not kid-friendly. Only redeeming quality is the view.

I can't say enough about the Makai Villas. The space was comfortable and open. The views absolutely insane. Proximity to town close enough to not need a car (as we were comfortable walking and using tuk tuks!) - though does require climbing stairs, which just felt like a much needed workout! Jade, the house manager, was incredible - so communicative and available. Highly recommend a stay here. Also, the dining area and kitchen is perfect for bringing in a private chef for meal(s). We booked Casper and Nikki from Alegria Dining and they were absolutely fantastic - amazing food, great vibes as humans. They are not to be missed. Nosara is so special. Can't wait to come back!

Lots of good things to say, but the two most outstanding things was the most stunning view from every single room. We stayed at the villa for sunset every night as that was such a highlight! A family of monkeys in the tree right by the deck was amazing! Second best thing was the responsiveness from the host! Jade looked after us immediately resolved and questions or issues immediately! Also - it felt very safe and secure! We had a lovely stay! Hope to come back! We had an SUV which worked well to get to the villa, but ATVs would work well, and I did see a golf cart with big wheels get up the hill. Otherwise you can leave your regular golf cart at the bottom by the security guard and walk up the steps instead!

Beautiful house and location and very responsive and helpful host.
