I live in Melbourne and was looking for a quick get away on the Peninsula that was in a good location, provided a country feel and catered for my dog. All these expectations were met. Easy access to nature, beaches & township. The enclosed garden for our dog was fantastic. The cottage itself is very basic with limited amenities. A little milk on arrival would have been nice. Think 1970 beach shack with timber linings, gas oven and low water pressure in showers. Access is via some sections of unsealed road - my mini struggled, bigger car needed. The cottage is small especially bathrooms and has rickety timber steps to garden from deck. The deck was fantastic, partially screened with vines. Spent the day there reading and napping - best part of the house. The summary of amenities did mention No Wifi , so my mistake. It is a working farm with machinery so noisy at times. Hosts were great communicators. I can see that this house would appeal to a lot of people with its privacy.

Had a very peaceful stay at this fantastic cottage. Very happy with the location, a fenced off property off a dirt road. Only a short drive to restaurants, wineries and the beach. The cottage had all that was needed and spotlessly clean. We especially like the large deck where we could sit quietly in the shade and have a wine.
