The location of this apartment is excellent, and the pool/spa area incredible for kids and adults alike. The apartment is nicely furnished as per the photos. The rooftop was also wonderful for evening dinners. Unfortunately - the apartment was listed with air conditioning and we were extremely surprised to find upon arrival that it was not working, and informed that it had never been listed with aircon. With thanks to AirBnb Support, we were able to clear up this ‘misunderstanding’ and enjoy the vacation, as due to the busy summer period there were no suitable alternatives. The apartment was, predictably, extremely hot and damp due to the humidity, and with little breeze during our stay, no amount of cross-ventilation or ceiling fans could make this pleasant. As a result there are areas of mould (some quite large), a general smell of damp and tiles that remained slick with moisture. It’s a real shame, as otherwise this apartment and complex was excellent.
