Suba House is situated in the authentic lively but relaxing neighbourhood Njongop in the village Toubab Dialaw. The boutiques for all your daily necessities (fresh bread, eggs, juice etc.) are not more than 100 meters away.
Toubab Dialaw is originally a fishermen's enclave, part of a chain of little coastal villages forming the community of Yenne.
A sandy path runs alongside the house, leading to the main (unpaved) road which is only used by local traffic. The long stretched sandy beach is only 250 meters away, meaning you can hear the waves at night.
Five minutes north of Suba Maison is the centre of the village with the beautiful characteristic rock in the sea and several small restaurants, as well as Espace Culturel Sobo Bade where you can join the sunset with a local glass of wine.
Five minutes to the south, you reach the international dance school Ecole the Sable from the legendary dancer and choreographer Germaine Acogny.
The house has a green circle in the garden and several terraces, which provides a great location to dance, make music, do yoga, or other group activities.
Suba Maison is a good base to set off for several excursions such as the Bandia Wildlife Reserve, Île de Gorée (Musee de Esclaves), Popenguine (good food), Somone (Mangrove, beach and oysters and other seafood specialties), Mbour (authentic centre and the biggest fishermans harbour of west africa), Thies and the Sine Saloum. At the beach at Ndayane, south of the village, you can do golfsurf. We can help to arrange that for you.
Since the international airport is only half an hour by car away, it is a good location to start or finish your journee through Senegal.

At 8 minutes walk you will find the ‘garage’, public transport hub for taxi, shared taxi and bus. Private taxi from the house can be arranged.
