Our group of 2 couples absolutely loved our stay. Such a special place and very privileged to connect with the heritage of the area. A clever balance of an authentic, rustic experience with luxurious modern conveniences. So many stand outs including a sheltered and private outdoor deck, spa like rain shower, super comfy beds and a gourmet kitchen for foodies. Superb!

Robe is a wonderful location and Mr Banks' is an historic, atmospheric and comfortable property with a wealth character. It is private and secluded yet very central and is furnished with a most interesting array of artefacts and a fantastic eclectic selection of books which all adds up to project an excellent "vibe". The management also responded well to a couple of issues that we drew to their attention. There are just a few items or elements of the experience that made Mr Banks a 4 star experience for us rather than the full 5 stars.

The house was so beautiful and so well styled with beautiful furniture and spaces. It was lovely having two different living area spaces and a great outdoor area to spend time on warm days. The location was perfect too, right in town and near the beach. I found 2 things strange about the property though: 1) unless you book for more than 2 people you don't actually get to use more than one bedroom (the other rooms don't get made up) so even though you're booking a 3 bedroom house only one bedroom will be useable. This is usually fine but worth keeping in mind as usually on air bnb when you book an entire house you can use the whole space. 2) We were just provided two towels (as we were 2 adults) and when I was asked for additional towels I was told that's not possible due to cleaning costs. I find that a bit strange when staying in a place that's clearly designed to be really luxurious and premium but there are limitations on towels.

This place is wonderful,got everything we need in this beautiful cottage!The kitchen the nice and we had a great time in the little garden and high recommend to other people who’s travelling in Robe!We will come back!

2nd oldest home in robe! Did not feel old though was very well set out and comfortable. Stunning little home
