My Dad and I stayed for 4 nights. We got in late. Shannon called to tell us of a wind storm and warning us to expect branches down. Left us a menu for a restaurant I had said we were going to. Finally got to bed and the beds were super comfortable. Nice sheets and blankets. In the kitchen there were snacks and coffee left for us. Such nice touches! The bathroom was clean and modern with a great shower. Plenty of towels available. The house is in a nice neighborhood with a short ride into town with lots of shopping, good restaurants, an incredible bakery and a good coffee shop. The water is nearby and ferries just thru town. We were really excited to find this place. Tina and Sharon were super friendly, proactive, helpful. We will be back.

Tina's place is very clean, comfortable and inviting. Excellent location that is close to beaches and restaurants. Home is well supplied with snacks, books and games. Our only wish is that we had more days to stay at her place to explore Long Island.

Where do I begin! From the moment I booked i knew we would feel right at home at Tina's place! Tina was super responsive and very easy to communicate with, like talking to a friend! Traveling with a baby can be intimidating but Tina's place felt like a relative's house, warm and welcoming. I would rebook in a heartbeat; in fact we were due back in a few days for a family members funeral service but unfortunately her place was already booked for our needed dates. Tina was very helpful, when we needed a place outside for soiled diapers, she was quick to bring a separate receptacle to us with a baby gate! Tina sent over clear check-in & out instructions and her "rules" were simple to follow. Growing up in Sayville myself, I knew that the location would be great...plenty of places to eat, a beautiful main street with cute shops and a quaint beach front to feel the salty air. Don't think twice about booking, Tina's place is a must!

What says it all for this review, is that I need to travel to this area approximately four times a year, and will always return to stay here. I've written glowing reviews before... don't know what more to say other than "it feels like home". It's in a quiet, safe, convenient, neighborhood... just like my childhood home, only with a shiny new bathroom. I travel a lot, and of all the places I stay, this one has everything you need, and somehow organized right where you would expect to find it. The house has such charm, and the benefit of having a living room area (with that amazingly comfy couch) can't be overlooked. Parking, is right in front of the house. And you could not get more responsive hosts.. they are amazing. They have bikes on request, and although I didn't ask for one to be available because it was going to rain, they got me one at the last minute when the weather had a window of clearing - with a great suggestion for touring along the waterfront home area. Thanks!!
