We had a wonderful stay! The house is adorable, having 2 bathrooms was a luxury and the wood fireplace was so perfect! We enjoyed some family time in front of it playing a few board games they had available. The community is really nice! There is a sledding hill by where the indoor pool is! My son loved sledding and then going inside and swimming! We felt truly welcome here! The beds were so comfortable, lots of extra blankets and nice big fluffy towels! We’d love to visit again in the summer so we could enjoy the huge front deck!

We decided fairly late to steal away for a couple of days in the mountains, and luckily found one of Jesse and Libby's listings available - one in Big Bass Lake, a gated community. lucky for us, their home had just what we were looking for: an open living space with a fire place, a large wrap-around porch and a cook's kitchen with plenty of cooking supplies. Jesse was very responsive and facilitated our registration with the Community Association so that we could enter the community easily upon our arrival. The gate attendant was very friendly, and helpful. The neighborhood was very quiet, for the most part. There were a couple of incidents with cars driving well over the speed limit and seemingly not in control. Stressful when walking as there are no sidewalks. The lake is visually lovely, but not very accessible on foot, as most of the lakefront property is privately owned. We didn't use any of the amenities, but did walk around the small park at the entrance before leaving.

The comminuty was lovely, peaceful and quiet in mid September. The house was comfotable and roomy, one street away from the lake and a short walk to the beach.
