The flat is of a very tasteful modern design, more than fully equipped and extraordinarily clean. The host Richard and especially his co-host Kalethia, though never met in person, are exceptionally friendly and helpful concerning everything around the stay of their guests, always fast in response. On request we received valuable recommendations about the good surrounding infrastructure. The only notice to fellow travellers are the phases of very loud aircraft noises originating from taking off planes from JFK directly overhead sometimes what can be of a nuisance during late evenings and a very distant neighborhood that can make one feel not really welcome outside the house. The Subway is very close but at least me, I would avoid the use in the dark. By that and except for the toll-bridges the house is very well located for all activities concerning the Rockaways, the beaches, downtown New York and even Long Island.
