Gijs et Angelo nous ont permis de passer une superbe soirée a leur table d'hôte au sein de leur magnifique lieu chargé d'histoire. Beaucoup de sympathie, de bienveillance et de belles discussions ! Un lieu atypique avec beaucoup de charme !

Voordat we aan onze reis begonnen, nam Gijs al contact met ons op. Dit gaf ons een goed gevoel zodat we gericht konden aangeven hoe laat we zouden arriveren. Gijs gaf ons gerichte instructies om bij de bestemming te komen. Bij aankomst verwelkomde Gijs ons bij de deur en wij voelden ons direct welkom. Het was prettig en gezellig communiceren. Het verblijf heeft een grote historische waarde en is bijzonder om eens mee te maken. De gedeelde badkamer en alle vertrekken hebben zo zijn charme en zijn functioneel. Heerlijk geslapen en wakker geworden met geluid van vogels. Prachtige omgeving!

An absolutely delightful stay at the Chateau de Fresne with Gijs and Angelo. The chateau is a true gem, the grounds stunning and the decor tickled all of my senses appealing to my artistic and sensory demands. Comfort was great too - very comfortable and enormous bed. Dinner was superbly cooked and served by Angelo 🌟 and I’m so glad I decided to stop in with them to eat by the fire in the downstairstairs dining room Overall topped off by an informative and passionate tour we are so grateful for their time and spot on hosting. If we are lucky we will visit again :)

Absolutely wonderful! A dream home with the most amazing welcome we’ve ever had. The best of everything, home, decor, views, atmosphere, history, cleanliness, ease to find and the dinner our hosts made for us was better than any restaurant could have created. 3 courses, wine, treats everything we could have wished for and more. Sitting by the huge open fire following the most amazing dinner, chatting to Gijs and his partner whilst our pup dashed around licking anything he could was pure heaven. It just couldn’t have been made any better. I would highly recommend staying here, it’s an experience which should be treasured. Thank you for having us!
