In the summer months Cobh welcomes over 90 Cruise Liners from all over the world. They dock in the deep water quay and are an amazing sight as they berth in the heart of the town.
A short drive away is Belvelly Castle and the FOTA Estate. Which includes a splendid house and gardens, a wildlife park and international hotel and golf club. Cobh also has a fab golf club. Blarney Castle is 45 minutes drive.
Cork City is a bus or train ride away, taking just 30 mins. The Cobh to Cork bus stop is a 10 minute walk. The cross river ferry just 3 minutes drive allowing access to West Cork without going through the city. There is so much to see and do in East Cork you won’t be disappointed.

Cobh is a wonderful place to base yourself to see East Cork and the West of Ireland. Or to just enjoy the delights of Cobh and the Great Island. Train and bus links are within easy reach to Cork City 30 minutes away. Cork International airport is 30 minutes drive away. There is a great Tourist office in Cobh that will give free maps and any information you need durning your stay. Easy access to Cobh by car, or a 25 minute walk.
