The apartment is located less than 5 minutes from the Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) and only 3 kilometers from downtown Alajuela. On the way from the airport to the property, you will find many other services, including banks, hospitals, shopping malls and hotels.
We recommend renting a car or using transportation services from digital platforms and cab services. If you travel by public transportation, you will be just a few minutes away from the bus station and the Alajuela train station, right next to the San Rafael Hospital.
On the other hand, birdwatchers should not miss a visit to Zoo Ave, a bird zoo 15 kilometers away on the way to El Coyón. Less than an hour away, nature lovers will be interested in taking a tour of the Cascada La Paz Natural Park, home to five famous waterfalls and one of the largest animal sanctuaries in Costa Rica.
Continue exploring north a little more than 50 kilometers, until you reach the famous Lake Hule on highway 126. Although if you plan to travel south, you will find the provinces of Santa Ana, Escazú and other tourist cities in Costa Rica. Once there, explore along highway 27 until you come across the beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Nicoya.
