Manu is a gem of a host. His property is a perfect and a picturesque getaway to unwind and soak in the lush green backwaters of Kerala. Would be a plus if one knows cycling to wander around the serene green bylanes.

Je n'aurais pas pu imaginer un meilleur endroit pour commencer mon séjour dans le Kerala (je l'ai d'ailleurs prolongé d'une nuit). Le lieu en front de backwater est magnifique et invite a la détente. J'ai pu faire une ballade très matinale en canoë, entourée par le bruit des oiseaux et au loin les chants des temples, ce fut magique. La nourriture proposée à un coût raisonnable est très bonne. Manu est un hôte parfait, disponible et réactif. Il a même réussi à retrouver dans quel distributeur j'avais oublié ma carte de credit à Kochi !

Es hat sich angefühlt als würde man die Familie besuchen. Sehr herzliche Menschen, schöne ruhige Lage, sehr sauberes Zimmer, wunderbares Essen und Manus Papa macht auf Anfrage sogar eine Bootstour durch die Backwaters. Eine klare Empfehlung!

We really enjoyed our stay. The room is freshly decorated, squeaky clean and very comfortable even without AC at this time of year. There’s a good restaurant downstairs where you can order meals at a fair price (just ensure you order a few hours in advance) and you are situated within a gentle complex where residents of the nearby Ayurvedic hospital are based. The benefit is you get a community whilst having space to be private if you wish. My partner had 2 fantastic massages with the masseur based downstairs. Manu is a great host, personable and open. Our one tip is to check with Manu that it’s not the week for the temple festival if you are going to be on site all the time and are seeking silence. It’s a great place with kind people and we highly recommend.
