We didn’t know what to expect when we booked this beach house. We have to admit that we were happily surprised as soon as we opened the front door. The house is very clean and well equipped. The back door gives access to a terrace that is at the beach. When you are on the terrace you are within 5 meters to the ocean and the view is breathtaking. It feels as if the house is built in the water. The neighbors are extremely nice. They are fisherman and every morning they arrive with boats filled with freshly picked seafood. Two hours after our checking in. We bought some seafood that they cooked for us. You have few friendly small shops and restaurants nearby. The host is very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed this place and will definitely book again when we come back to langkawi. We leave fresh and completely rejuvenated! If you want relaxation and breathtaking sea view, we encourage you to look no further and book this place!

Shaliza's place has two unique charms: her friendly personality and the back of the house facing sea. Watching the sunrise (we were out during sunsets) with sea in front, the cool breeze, and waves sound were soothing experiences. We did not swim there because we were heading to so many other beaches, but I see no reason one can't swim there. The guests were from Michigan not knowing much about Langkawi who wanted to explore Langkawi in our own way avoiding the professional guided tours. Shaliza guided us with her personal recommendations that turned out to be very good. She even arranged a rental car for us that was waiting when we stepped out of the ferry. Last but not the least, the kitchen was very helpful with all the needed utensils and cooking basics like salt, pepper, and cooking oil. We would recommend that Shazila provide at least 10 liter of filtered water or guide guests about the location at a walking distance where it is dispensed for only RM 0.10/liter.

Le lieu était conforme à la description cela dit, une cuisine sommaire mais suffisamment équipée, une salle de bain avec de l'eau froide (je suis frileuse alors je remplissais un seau avec de l'eau chaude du chauffe-eau, ca faisait très bien l'affaire ;D), quelques petits insectes par-ci par-là. Nous avons hélas séjourné pendant une période de grosse pluie ce qui a un peu gâché notre plaisir, nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la plage devant. 2 hics cela dit : - il faisait très chaud malgré les orages et nous n'avons pas trouvé comment ouvrir les fenêtres, mais nous faisions des courant d'air entre les 2 portes + il y avait des ventilateurs dans toutes les pièces. - en arrivant nous avons constaté que la maison se situe près d'une usine que l'on voit en arrivant, c'est surprenant mais une fois sur place on ne la voit plus. C'est une usine de ciment, rien de dangereux :) Merci à notre hôte qui a été très réactive, et désolée pour le départ tardif (nous nous sommes trompés d'horaire !).

The house was cute, but the water is cold and it’s not mentioned. We had a problem with the key at our arrival and we had to wait for a long time (but it was occasional). Otherwise it’s a peaceful location in the front the sea, it’s great if you want to relax. But if you want to visit the island, you need a car or a scooter.
