My place is located on Middle Abbey Street in Dublin where it gets its name from the former St. Mary's Abbey which was located here between 1139 and 1539!
The buildings have been modernized in recent years with the apartments being spread between the two, however, the buildings date from 1945 and c1850.
As it is in the city centre, it is walkable to almost everywhere but transport is in abundance all around. Dublin is a walkable city compared with the much larger European capital cities so you are able to get a lot done in short periods of time.
O'Connell Street is beside my place where a considerable part of the 1916 Easter Rising took place, going north to the GPO. A shopping street with a variety of brands, Henry Street, is less than 5 mins away and Parnell Square where the Garden of Remembrance is located, is also beside the Hugh Lane Gallery.
Walking south over the O'Connell Bridge leads you to Grafton Street, Trinity College, St. Stephens Green Park and Merrion Square with many other locations on the way. To the right of my apartment is Liffey Street which brings you to the Ha'Penny Bridge(the first dedicated footbridge over the River Liffey and also the first iron bridge in Ireland - built in 1816!). When you cross here it will take you to the Temple Bar(8 min walk) area and towards Dublin Castle, Christchurch and Saint Patrick's Cathedrals(look out for Merchant's Arch).

The apartment is located beside the city's main thoroughfare with access to most, if not all, bus routes.
The Luas(tram) stop is on the left and right sides of the apartment, either get off at Jervis or Abbey street if you plan on taking the tram from both Connolly and Heuston train stations.
In Ireland, we use taxi apps such as FreeNow or Bolt.
No parking at my property but you can try Jervis Street car park or search online for car parks in the Dublin 1 area
