We enjoyed our overnight stay at Richard's. We had a party of 5 which worked for the kitchen and living room seating. Just an FYI for others, if it was a larger party, we would not have had enough seating. A couple of quirks is that one of the bedroom doorknobs was broken, so once it was closed, we couldn't get out of the room and someone had to let us out. A couple of the lamps also didn't work.

My one star review is more for the host than the place. The place was okay but there were some issues with it. Although I provided feedback to Richard for making future guests more comfortable, I requested two things fixed, a curtain rod that we found on the floor upon arrival and the master bedroom door knob which came off the first time we tried to open the door after closing it. Richard initially said that he would fix the rod after we left as he didn’t want to intrude, but offered to have it fixed since it would be a “quick fix”. After I said I preferred it fixed, he stopped answering my texts. We stayed four nights and 5 days. I let him know each morning that we would be out so he can have his crew come in and I received no response. I know he was getting the messages because the app showed that he had read them. There were many issues with the place but we only asked for those two things. It was disappointing and frustrating and could have been avoided.

We live down the street. We stayed here for a night when our house had a plumbing issue, despite the last minute request, booking was a breeze. Richard was super responsive and helpful. I would totally stay again.
