Nice place to stay, and even though it's in the basement, it's been very nicely curated.. The standout feature is the living room with the TV lounge feature. Recommended for a sojourn with family to Ottawa. The bathroom is a bit on the smaller side, but it is extremely functional and well kept. The house itself is in a residential neighbourhood about 25-30 mins from downtown Ottawa and a very peaceful location, so ideal for someone looking to explore the nature around Ottawa. The hosts are very friendly in their communication, and quickly responded to any concerns we had.

What a great experience! Ado and family were great hosts and it was a very lovely space. I asked about bringing our 15-month old beforehand and they were great to let us know about the temperature, as it’s a basement unit. The space heater and blankets were a nice touch and perfect for later at night while things calmed down. Definitely a spot you’d need a car/Uber access to get to and from restaurants or shopping, but it was a beautiful spot to take our little guy for a walk. There’s a walkable trail with a park behind the house, which was a nice touch. Communication was great and the space was gorgeous! We also loved that the rooms weren’t side-by-side, so there’s a bit more privacy than the photos suggest. Fridge items were really nice touch! 10/10 would stay again 😊

We stayed for two nights and we were very pleased with this place. We were most impressed with how spacious the entertainment area is. The bean shaped love seat was cozy. And the couch was huge and comfy. Thank you for all the thoughtful amenities…warm throw blankets, a first aide kit, shampoo, body wash, lotion, air fresheners, well stocked kitchen, coffee pods, ice in the freezer, tea, and very comfy beds with soft pillows and more! The only thing to mention is that the bathroom is an ensuite. We were two couples so it was a bit inconvenient at night. Also, there is a coffee table but no dining table. This wasn’t a big deal for us. We would definitely consider staying here again. The hosts are very hospitable. It is a well deserved 5 star place.
