This cozy 2-bedroom in-law unit is nestled in a quiet Novato neighborhood just minutes from Hwy 101, with hiking trails on the gorgeous Mount Burdell nearby. This unit has a private entrance, full kitchen, private hot tub, wood burning stove in the master bedroom & a cozy couch & seating area in the TV room. There is a shared wall with the homeowners, so you may hear muffled sounds from overhead/next door. This lovely, 2-bedroom unit with private bathroom has lots of sun from Spring through Fall. The Master and Small bedrooms are on opposite ends for privacy, with comfy new beds in each! A new Kitchen merges with the TV room for a nice communal gathering spot! Hardwood floors throughout make this a dog- friendly home. There is an extra $75 fee per stay for pups so please include them during your booking process. NOTE for larger groups- the only outdoor entrance to the unit is through the master bedroom sliding door.

We loved our stay! The kitchen was well appointed. Check out was easy, because we didn't have to do all the cleaning before we left; we just had to full the dishwasher and start it. ♥️
Very welcoming and clean place. Just as described. I worked from home a bit and the internet was great. I had no issues.
Kathleen and Otto's place was nice and comfortable. The hot tub was a great bonus. The reason I give it 4/5 stars is that it felt cold. There isn't a heating system in the space but rather lots of space heaters and we couldn't get the place to feel warm despite having the space heaters on constantly. Admittedly we were visiting in February after a storm so if you visit in the summer, it would probably feel much warmer. Everything else was good though and Kathleen and Otto were responsive and helpful hosts.

This safe residential neighborhood is conveniently located just 2.5 miles from Hwy 101. The nearest grocery store is only 1/2 mile away, yet you'll find hiking trails to Mount Burdell & beautiful Stafford Lake within minutes of the house. The Lake offers disc golf, picnic tables & a mountain bike course. For the golfers in your group, the Indian Valley Golf Course is a public, 18-hole course nearby.
You can't beat this location for exploring the North Bay- you are ~25 miles from Point Reyes & Marin beaches, 20 miles from the Town of Sonoma & Wine Country & 30 miles from San Francisco.
We ask guests to park in front of our home whenever possible to minimize the impact of our ABB on our neighbors, but free parking on the street is easy. We ask you to please not park in the driveway. Novato and Marin County are best explored by car, but some guests have chosen to use Lyft and Uber- just expect longer wait times given the rural-suburban nature of this area.
