Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la villa de Matteo. Le concierge Mattia a été très accueillant et disponible tout au long du séjour. Dès que nous avions un besoin, il s’est montré réactif. Il a même acheté une barrière pour protéger le bébé des escaliers (malheureusement trop petite). Une belle attention! La villa était immense, avec une grande terrasse et une superbe vue. L’hiver et le temps maussade ne nous a pas permis de profiter de l’extérieur, mais aux beaux jours, ça doit être super sympa. Le hammam était appréciable après une bonne journée de marche et de visite. La cuisine est hyper fonctionnelle avec plein d’ustensiles. Les cuisiniers de la famille étaient aux anges. La villa est en haut d’une colline, a 20 min en voiture de Lucca. Pour y accéder, il faut emprunter une route sinueuse. Nous recommandons ce logement. Bon rapport qualité/prix.

We rented the villa for a week in Tuscany. It was a very last minute rental and Matteo was very responsive and made it happen for us in a very short amount of time. We got to the house was were welcomed by Mattia who take care of the property. He showed us the house and some of the features. He helped us get settled and recommended local spots to eat and things to do. One of the highlights of our week was when Mattia offered to prepare a dinner and a wine tasting at the villa. It was beyond our expectations and the food and wine was excellent. The home itself was great, well taken care of and offered a very relaxing and private setting. Beautiful views of Lucca and surrounding mountains up a windy road. The local super markets and the old city are all within 20 minutes. Great beaches in 40-60min. We had a great time and looking forward to returning soon.
