I can't recommend this place enough. At our arrival at Villa Ceghona, we were welcomed by an amazing view over the town of Silves. Inside, the villa was pristine and well-equiped making our stay with 5 children (between 4y and 5m) unforgettable. Marta made sure we had everything at our disposal, whenever we had questions, she was immediately there with a answer or solutions. 5 stars

This is quite a special house with an outstanding view over Silves and an impeccable interior. The house had been cleaned to within an inch of its life and had everything you needed for a fabulous stay. The kitchen was well equipped [even lots of tupperware for picnics] and the games room fabulous. All the bedrooms were comfortable with the main bedroom having great views. Theres a wrap around balcony on the main floor and a swiming pool and deck area to enjoy. Its built on a hill so not for people with mobility issues ....drive steep and steps to the pool. But we had a toddler with us and the stairgates and other safety issues made it very secure. Its also very walkable into Silves....especially if you take the short cut and dont mind a bit of a scramble. Silves itself is lovely. Good restaurants and bars and beautiful castle and ramparts. Beaches nearby in the car. Marta the host was lovely. All in all a very special place and highly recommended. Wld go back in a heartbeat

Villa perfeita ! Uma vista panorâmica e maravilhosa da cidade de Silves. Um sunset maravilhoso. Uma casa decorada com muito gosto e muita modernidade. Piscina grande impecável para 10 pessoas. Foi uma semana perfeita, adoramos e voltaremos de certeza. Obrigada também a Dona Marta e a sua mãe que foram impecáveis connosco e que estiveram sempre ao nosso dispor. Para o ano, cá estaremos novamente. Encontramos o sítio perfeito para ficar.

Marta's house is stunning and in a beautiful location overlooking Silves. The house is impeccably kept and well stocked with anything you need to cook with and there's also a Lidl nearby which has everything you need food wise. The pool is lovely, although keep in mind it's not shallow enough at any point for young children to stand, so confident swimmers or armbands are recommended. We were two families (8yr old & 5 yr old / 5yr old and 3 yr old), and we had everything we needed for a great week. Silves is a really lovely place to visit with some delicious restaurants. It's walkable from the villa but a bit of a hike back up however taxis are readily available. There's a small section where there's no pavement so I would advise in daylight hours only. For kids (and big kids) there's two aqua parks within a 15 minute taxi. Marta was very quick responding to any of our questions as well as purchasing bed rails for our youngest which was really appreciated.
