"Vounaraki 4" is built right above the beach of Alykes, in the location "Vounarakia" (small hills), from where we were inspired and the name of the area that currently hosts two houses, "Vounaraki 2" and "Vounaraki 4". The estate was named "Vounarakia Houses". "Vounaraki 4" is a fully functional and modern wooden house. It is located in the most charming and peaceful part of the beach of Alykes, with the absolute view of the sea and the horizon. It will offer you that charm of simplicity and unadulterated tranquility offered by the sea breeze, the sound that the wave makes when it breaks on the edge of the beach, the nostalgic colors of the evening, the clarity of the summer sky. Simple things, which, however, have their own value and which we need so much in today's complex life. Take your best book, install your most nostalgic or relaxing music on your mobile (the house has a SONOS WiFi speaker) and enter a "time capsule" that will detox you from the stress and worries of the previous days! Если вы подумываете об этом потрясающем коттедже - знайте, что это будет самым лучшим вложением в ваш отдых. Эстетам и чистюлям особенно приглянется этот домик у моря. Потрясающее внимание к декору и деталям дома. Коттедж намного красивее и больше в жизни , чем на фотографиях. В доме вы найдете все, что нужно для комфортного отдыха и даже больше ! Коттедж расположен в тихом местечке , так что если вы желаете убежать от всего мира и поехать в ретрит - это ваш выбор. Иметь личный доступ к пляжу и морю , и просыпаться/засыпать под шум волн - это волшебно. Также Кристос был самым отзывчивым, дружелюбным и потрясающем хозяином за все мои поездки. Было ощущение, как будто мы приехали к другу в гости. В окрестностях много ресторанов и кафе, хоть мы и приехали не в сезон - нашли много мест по вкусу. Отдельно хочется отменить бар с бассейном в 30 секундах ходьбы по пляжу . Было ощущение, что бассейн нам достался бонусом :) Без раздумий вернемся ! хх

Dies war eine der schönsten Unterkünfte, in der ich jemals war. Das Standhaus ist wunderschön, modern und nutzerfreundlich eingerichtet. Christos hat an viele Details gedacht, die einem den Aufenthalt verschönern. Die Lage ist perfekt mit privater Terrasse. Der Außenbereich, sowie auch das Interieur sind wunderschön hergerichtet. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wow, this place exceeded our expectations. Absolutely beautiful, modern, well appointed little house. The space is small but not as small as the pictures make it look. Tall ceilings and a smart layout make it feel larger than it is. Windows, faucets, lights, everything is brand new and works perfectly. The design/aesthetic is wonderful. The outdoor space is well thought out and perfect for tanning/relaxing. The house is about 15 steps from the beach and the beach is beautiful. Nearby there are lots of restaurants and bars and a market, but nothing is directly close to you so it's also very peaceful/private/quiet. Private driveway with a parking space helped with our rental car. The air conditioning worked great. Christos was an amazing host, very responsive/helpful and thoughtful with his reccomendations. He also seamlessly worked with us for a late check in and an early check out. The ideal Airbnb host. 5/5 stars, we will be back!

Am avut o săptămână minunata în locuința lui Christos. Chiar dacă am întârziat, din cauza feribotului și a aglomerației din Zakynthos, Christos ne-a așteptat și a prezentat detaliile cazarii. Locuința a fost foarte curata, iar poziționarea pe malul marii este fabuloasa. În viitor vom reveni. O singură amintire puțin dezamăgitoare pentru noi, dar asta este doar pentru noi personal și nu afectează părerea noastră despre cazare, e ca am avut nevoie sa stea cu noi, pentru o noapte, 2 prieteni foarte apropiati (noi eram în luna de miere, iar nașa noastră de cununie își sărbătorea ziua de naștere în ziua în care am ajuns), însă, asta ar fi însemnat ca regulile cazării sa fie încălcate, și în urma conversației cu Christos nu am putut sărbători în 4, cele 2 aniversari.

Right next to the house, you will find the pool bar "Paradise" where it has sunbeds, and you can take your snack, coffee, or drink by paying. Its open until late at night.
Alykes is a small, former fishing village with an intense now tourist life. Here, you will find a multitude of restaurants, tourist shops, and other services, such as vehicle and boat rental. On the beach of Alykes, you will find both "cosmopolitan" corners with beach bars and seaside restaurants, as well as many calmer spots, depending on your tastes. Even the beach itself presents a gradation in terms of the material it is made of. So you will find that it is divided into two large "sub-beaches," one with fine sand and one with coarse pebbles. In front of the house, the beach has pebbles. Inside the sea you will find very shallow waters. This allows you to walk almost all of it, being constantly in the water. It is ideal for those who do not have the ability to swim or be afraid of sea waters. In the afternoon hours, when the weather is warm and the sea is calm, the water in the shallows is relatively warm. Alykes is not famous for its crowds, nor does it compete with other more cosmopolitan parts of Zakynthos. However, they are famous for the calmness and relaxation they offer, without being completely "quiet." This is the combination that for many repeat visitors is irreplaceable.
At a short distance on the south of Alykes is Alikanas. Alikanas Beach is a continuation of that of Alykes. It is also a fishing village with its own small harbor for fishing boats. In Alikanas you will find bars, restaurants, swimming pools, a bakery, a pharmacy and a supermarket. Also you can rent a boat with its skipper for touring around the coast of the island. The cost for a touring to the Shipwreck and Blue Caves cost approximately 240€ (2023 price listed)!
At a short distance from Alykes is Katastari, the largest village of Zakynthos. In the village you can see some beautiful picturesque places, such as its churches. You can enjoy a panoramic view towards the bay of Alykes. In the village there is the local police station, a pharmacy, a bakery and a supermarket.

出行信息

The best way to explore Zakynthos is by car, motorbike, or ATV. After landing on the island, you can rent a vehicle from the companies located next to the airport. If you choose to come home by taxi, there is always the possibility of renting a vehicle from rental offices located in Alykes or Alikanas, close to the house. The host, if you wish, can point you some of these offices. There is also the possibility of moving by public transport. Relevant transportation information, if requested, will be provided to guests by the host.
