Penny and Richard were the most delightful hosts and the house was lovely… they left thoughtful flowers, biscuits and tea/coffee making items in the house and Richard was there to let me in… The house is literally 10 mins drive from Bath city centre as well as a few minutes drive to the countryside and 1hr to the beach… walking distance to Tesco Express and another convenience store. Everything was working and pristine and both Richard and Penny told me several times if there was any issues or anything I needed I could contact them any time of the day which was lovely to know they were on hand… The only slight downside was the parking - and it’s only because I have 2 small dogs and the house is on a fairly busy road. There is parking directly opposite which most of the time was available and is free to park there but when it wasn’t had to park down the road and around the corner. Overall absolutely recommend and they were some of the best hosts I’ve experienced. Thank you xxx

Penny was communicative and helpful making changes to cater for us and our toddler. Parents should be aware it’s steep stairs, busy road at the door and kitchen stools meant it was slightly harder with a toddler but this is not a reflection on the Airbnb. A lot of the crockery could have done with a better clean on closer inspection, the bathroom wall had mould and the place is noisy with the road. But we really enjoyed our stay, these were small issues for us.

Penny and Richard were great when we arrived and showed us where everything was. They also came to clean during our stay. Great location and parking was easy.

Cosy little cottage - would be perfect for short stays when visiting bath. A fully equipped kitchen as well as washing facilities. Would be a little small for 4 people with no dining/ kitchen table. But perfect for a couple! Very responsive host

A cosy, peaceful place in a nice, small village. The star of the show would have to be Richard, the owner’s partner. Richard was always incredibly helpful and timely at addressing any issues we had from a washing machine on the Fritz to a wonky garage door remote, working quickly to find a solution to any problems we had whilst staying with them. Was always prompt on housekeeping as well and generally communicated with us any and everything related to our stay. All in all, would stay again if given the chance!
