Woodland Retreat is the perfect name for this wooded hideaway. Surrounded by magnificent trees, home to at least 20 species of birds singing like a chorus when I enjoyed my coffee outside each morning, picking them up on my birder app. I was so fortunate to find this place at the very last minute when an unexpected trip to Poulsbo came up. I do believe it's the nicest and best valued AirBnB I've stayed in. The apartment is very large, clean and comfortable with a separate bedroom and comfortable bed. There were a couple of issues that came up that were no one's fault, like the power going out for a few hours. Terry and his wife took such good care of me, lighting candles, hooking up a generator, making sure I had enough light for the evening. This couple was very charming and delightful to visit with and you could tell they had their client's best interest at heart and I highly recommend you give this location a try.

The view and entrance to the Airbnb is wonderful full of green all around. The kitchen, bathroom, and room were extremely clean. It definitely had all the kitchen utilities it has listed.

Our stay here was great! Nice unit in quiet, peaceful location. We didn't even know anyone was above us. Super nice to have separate befroom, kitchen and living area. Bed was comfortable. Location is easily accessible from main highway. Only 4 miles from downtown Poulsbo but unit in country/rural feel. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area! Terry is a GREAT communicator. Thanks!

Terry is great! He noted that the pull out couch wasn’t super comfortable, so he took the liberty of purchasing a mattress topper that was very comfortable. The home was perfect for what we needed it for. Doesn’t offer a ton of amenities, but when you just need a place to stay for the weekend this is a fantastic option. Overall, a super clean and basic home. Would definitely stay here again!!!
