We LOVED The Greenhouse - our favourite place to stay in Tassie! Beautiful turn of the century cottage decorated exquisitely - adored that there was no TV, so reading in front of the fire and playing scrabble was such a lovely relaxing 'forced' time but don't worry there is internet so you can connect with the real world if you wish to! Caution sleepers! ... the green bedroom is gloriously dark that if you don't set an alarm you will awake when your body wants ... which maybe late as we were delighted to find one mid-morning ... just what holidays are all about! We plan on returning on Tassie and will most certainly be coming back to The Greenhouse - thank you so much Meg for such an adorable place to stay.

We stayed at the Greenhouse for 3 nights in Queenstown on our 2-week trip around Tasmania. Queenstown was central placed in the west giving easy access to Strahan, Cradle Mountain and the highlands. It’s a quirky town finding new growth from a rich past, and has plenty of local charm including excellent arts and crafts. The Greenhouse was beautifully fitted with a pot-belly combustion heater, antique style doors and curtains, etc. which nodded to the heritage mining feel of the town; while still having the latest appliances, induction stove etc. super comfortable and we loved every minute of our stay - thank you!
