The house is spacious and in a wonderful area. Check in was easy and it had a great garden. Positives end there. There was no folder of information about how things worked. The house looked clean at first but actually, when you looked closer, it was clear it had not been cleaned properly for a long time. The kitchen was poorly equipped with utensils for cooking and when we asked Luxe, they told us to buy our own things. There was no kitchen bin which was promised but never arrived. Quite a few things broken, lose wires, all dangerous, especially with young children. The heating didn’t work properly. The on call engineer gave us a solution over the phone to try but it didn’t work. We are not plumbers. They should have sent someone. When we called Luxe for support, they responded at first but didn’t seem to care. All these problems put a massive dampener on our stay. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially a family with young children.
