Beautifully decorated with original art work. Loved sitting in front of the fireplace on a rainy weekend and reading one of the many books available in the house. Great setup for 2 couples and equally suitable for families.

Third time staying at Ruth's place and we loved it. The house is perfect with all you need to enjoy the stay. The garden is lovely and the veranda is perfect for us to just relax in a sunny day. It was raining on Saturday and we stayed indoors in the cozy living room watching TV. We loved how warm and nice the fireplace makes the house, what else can we ask for? We will definitely go back every time we are in Robertson, we love that house :) Thank you Ruth for making us feel at home :)

We so enjoyed our far too short a stay at Magpie cottage and much appreciated the delicious treats left for us and the care and attention put in to having the cottage presented at its best ! Warm and welcoming and we immediately felt at home and loved perusing Ruth’s wonderful collection of artworks ! Thankyou Ruth and Rod.

Had a truly delightful stay at Magpie Cottage. Felt right at home. Lovely collection of books, games and art. Well-stocked wood fire for a chilly night and really appreciated the grazing platter and bubbles left for us after a long drive. We give Ruth & Rod 5 stars. We’ll be back 🙏
