Can’t say enough good things. From check in to check out, everything was great. We loved the location, walking only a few steps to the beach. The home was well stocked, shower was great, and beds were comfy. We will be back!

If you’re looking for a place to stay in OB look no further! The house is so cute, so much character, and beautiful details. Views of the ocean from the main living room and primary bedroom. The sunken living room is fun and funky, listening to the waves in the cozy bay window. After sunset, there’s a huge TV with all the stuff you’d need. It’s the little things with this place, like so many outlets, SUPER comfy bed, extra towels, a huge window in the soaking tub, a pack n play for our baby, garage parking, stained glass mural, oh and a welcome bottle of wine. Plus the host is super nice and responsive. Can’t say enough! 5 stars Hans! Thank you!

This is a special place right on the beach! We ended up spending more time in the north park & La Jolla areas, ocean beach is comparable to Venice beach in LA (iykyk) so I’d do some research if you want to be closer to what you’re getting up to. Overall the place was cozy and it was great cooking in the kitchen and having a view of the beach from the dining table!! My favorite part was the tub and reading in the little nook.

This place has amazing light with good vibes — it made a wonderful winter getaway. We appreciated the comfy beds with nice cotton sheets and cotton towels. That said, they are not kidding about the airplanes — there were lots of them, especially early in the morning. Light sleepers (especially *young* light sleepers) may want to consider a different part of SD further north. It was a bummer we couldn’t use the washer/dryer downstairs but they did provide a drying rack (as well as a crib and a high chair)! The outdoor space is lovely and sunny in the afternoon as well. It’s right on the beach so our kid had fun watching the volleyball players and birds. The whole area is very laid back plus has a Target for groceries. Overall a great value for the amenities and proximity to everything in SD.
