We can say that the neighborhood is divided in two by the avenue that connects Guarapari to Anchieta - on the beach side is the village of Meaípe and on the other side of the track is the Belo Horizonte neighborhood where our house is 1 block away from the track.
Essential services are concentrated in this lane (supermarket, bakery, cafeteria, pharmacies, ice cream shop, stationery, lan-house, electrical equipment, plumbing, renovation, butcher, beverage distributor, gas station, lottery shop, 24-hour bank, gas station, laundry, repair shop, locksmith, barber shop and beauty salon, self-service, ready-to-eat meals and several of those shops where you can buy everything you need for the beach).
On the Belo Horizonte side is the residential area of ​​the neighborhood and on the village side is the tourist and cultural area (regional gastronomy, various restaurants, hotels and nightclubs), in addition to the beach itself.
Once on the beach, you can be led to believe that the typical dish of the region is moqueca capixaba - and possibly you will eat the best moqueca capixaba in ES here. But the typical dish of Meaípe is actually the BOLINHO DE AIPIM.
Nowhere in the world will you find such a delicious fried cassava giant snack, with such a thin dough, with so much filling, and so big that it leaves you satisfied as in a complete meal. You didn't visit Meaípe if you didn't eat the BOLINHO DE AIPIM.

Meaípe is the last neighborhood of Guarapari before reaching the first neighborhood of Anchieta (Ubu). When in Meaípe, if you look to the left side you will see the Meaípe point (behind this rocky point Nova Guarapari begins, where the Padres, Bacutia, Peracanga and Guaibura beaches are located) and if you look to the right side you will see the Ubu Port Terminal - Samarco (on the way you will find the Mãebá Lagoon where Praia Doce is located).
From Meaípe to the center of Guarapari it is 8 km and it is possible to go jogging on this road. After Nova Guarapari (Enseada) the track has a bike path, so it caters for both joggers and bikers.
From Meaípe to the center of Anchieta it is 12 km away and I think it is safer to go by car or public transport. The first stretch, from Meaípe to Ubu, is a fun walk/run or pedal ride because on one side you have the sea and on the other the Maimbá lagoon.
