Welcome to Cascina Marenco, a beautiful country house in the vineyards and a great place for: wine lovers, fans of good food, history enthusiasts and seekers of quiet. Cascina Marenco is a charmingly restored traditional farmhouse, with annexed apartments, surrounded by tranquil grounds with a pool and a lovely garden. We’ve made every effort to preserve the unique character of this typical Piedmontese stone house: the perfect place for your stay in the Langhe. Cascina Marenco is made up of 4 independent apartments plus our home. Casa Gillo is one of 4 apartments available to guests. The swimming pool, the garden, the bbq area and the laundry room are areas shared by all the guests of the country house. >> CASA GILLO << The main house of Cascina Marenco with a warm and homey Italian country-style setting. 1-5 guests | minimum stay 6 nights The apartment is on two levels. Total size 120 sqm with private terrace. On the ground floor is the entrance, the wide kitchen (fully equipped), an inviting living room with a brick ceiling, stone walls, 2 sofas and TV. Access to a lovely, ample and private terrace both from the kitchen and the living room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with double beds (possibility of adding a single bed), a bathroom with a sink, WC and bidet and a separate shower room with a double sink (+ hairdryer). Free internet wi-fi connection. 1 free car parking next to the house (with electric charging available). From the terrace you can enjoy the beautiful view over the Langa Astigiana. On the terrace you will find table and chairs. Relax in the sun by the pool or seek out the shade under the pergola with a book and a cold drink.

We had a beautiful stay at Cascina Marenco. Valentina and Stefano welcomed us warmly and were always there for us. Their cascina is beautifully taken care of and we felt right at home. We enjoyed the beautiful view and the quiet very much. The upfront shopping service and the mealboxes to order are great! Thanks for having us, we hope to come back sometime.
Accueil super sympathique par des hôtes souriants et accommodants. Toutes nos questions étaient répondues rapidement et les hôtes étaient proactifs et s’assuraient de rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible. De toutes les locations que j’ai faites, celle-ci se classe au plus haut niveau en fait de communication, de gentillesse et d’aide. Le bien-être des invités est clairement une priorité des hôtes. Nous avons loué la petite maison et la vue était fantastique avec une très belle terrasse. Je recommande absolument.
Wir haben uns bei Valentina und Stefano rundum wohlgefühlt. Wir hatten das Glück, ein ganzes Ferienhaus für uns als 5-köpfige Familie zu haben mit ausreichend Platz für alle, sauberen, großen Zimmern und einer eigenen großen Terrasse mit wunderbarem Ausblick über die Weinberge und Haselnussplantagen. Die Gegend ist zwar sehr abgelegen und wenig touristisch erschlossen, doch genau das hatten wir für unseren Urlaub gesucht. Das gesamte Gelände ist sehr gepflegt und für die Kinder gut zum Spielen geeignet. Der Pool war jeden Tag ein Highlight für die Kinder. Valentina und Stefano waren stets erreichbar, wenn wir sie brauchten. Vielen Dank für die wunderschöne Woche bei Euch!
Een fantastische plek! Met zorg ingericht door de eigenaren. Vriendelijke ontvangst en persoonlijk. We kregen fijne tips voor uitstapjes in de omgeving en konden alles vragen. Rustig, ruim, fijne bedden met heerlijk geurend beddengoed. Een fijn en schoon zwembad. Prachtig uitzicht. Een week was te kort 😊. Bedankt!
Rekommenderar detta boende då det är en lugn och fridfull plats att vistas på! Mycket bra boende med alla nödvändigheter man behöver ha och skulle man vilja ha speciella önskemål så berättar man det till värdarna och utan konstigheter fixar dom det. Kommer att åka tillbaka hit flera gånger!

Cascina Marenco is situated in the hills between the villages of Cessole and Vesime, surrounded by vineyards. A quiet country lane connects the house to both villages, which are only 2 km away (a car is necessary and there is 1 free parking next to the house).

We are Valentina and Stefano. In our “past lives” we were Milanese freelancers. Thanks to friends, we discovered the great beauty of the Langa Astigiana and we fell in love with Cascina Marenco: the landscape, the stones, the vineyards, the land, the air, the light. We knew at once we’d found our new home. Now this is our new horizon, greener, further away. With our hospitality business we look forward to welcoming the world with open arms, to share with you the ancient stones of our house, tucked between rows of vines, surrounded by sweet silence and the soft light of the Langa hills. Our home will be your home.
