I had a great stay! The place was very clean and private. The easy check-in process, even late at night, was very convenient. The kitchen was well equipped. I will provide an objective assessment of the pros and cons. Pros: The host kindly welcomed me with small cookies as a thoughtful gesture. He promptly attended to the delivery of my packages and responded quickly to my inquiries. The basement was tastefully decorated, enhancing the overall ambience. Cons: Noise Prior to making my reservation, the host assured me that he and his family would maintain a quiet environment. Unfortunately, this promise went unfulfilled. Upon addressing the noise issue, the host's family neither apologized nor acknowledged their role in it. Instead, they placed the blame on me, asserting that I was the first guest to make such a complaint. The basement lacks a door, allowing sounds from upstairs to travel directly downstairs. Despite a temporary period of improved noise levels following my complaint, the host's family eventually returned to their previous state disregarding the issue, depriving me of the restful sleep I had hoped for throughout my stay.
