We stayed in this house for three months and it was great! Everything looked just like the pictures, and all appliances worked fine. The host was really nice and always helped us out when we needed it, like when things broke or we needed an electrician. However, you need to be prepared for the fact that electricity bills are not included in the rental. It could be + $100 per month. The house is a little far from Weligama, but it takes 5 minutes by bicycle if you don't drive. A good beach can also be reached in 5 minutes. Thanks to Nidesh for a nice place to stay!

not the best experience i’ve ever had. the fair price for this place is around 200$ per month, it is rather old, not equipped at all, all kitchen and bathroom stuff is old and dirty. i understand lanka style but it’s bad even for lanka. Water had been turning off sometimes, host couldn’t fix it in time. Internet was 5mb and he took additional payment for it although it’s clearly said inairbnb that it’s included in the price. hosts in general were strange: they offered us meals for overprice: 2200 for curry per person while too curry here in the cafes were for 1200-1500. they’ve sold us gas for 3500 while the average price turned out to be 1800. finally after we already left they’ve sent us electricity bill for36000 for 1 month. can you imagine? and guy couldn’t explain where did that price come from. very strange experience, i’m happy we left that house. now we live in beautiful place with very nice hosts. I 100% don’t recommend nidesh as a host and his house for stay even for 1 night.
