Whilst I call Ulverstone home, as a teacher for over 30 years I've lived and worked in many places across Tasmania. Tips from the locals have proved to be some of my best travel experiences so I hope I can guide you to some local treasures. I'm eager to help you find the best scenic highlights, coffee spots and restaurants to make your experience the best it can be. For me it's the climate - four distinct seasons, natural environment, fresh local produce and increasing number of great cafes and restaurants as well as first class events that I love about Tasmania. My first love is my family of three adult children and three beautiful grand daughters. Spending time with friends, recently learning to row, cycling and reading (by the open fire on a cold day) are some of my favourite things to do.
