Noriko's place is much more than a standard Airbnb. They don't treat it as a business, but as their legacy. Noriko and her husband work in the garden, take care of all the cleaning, making sure you always have clean towels, take out the garbage for you, and they even made a great pumpkin Salad and baked amazing breads for us... twice! It is impossible not to fall in love with these two. We surely recommend them, and their property in Tomi.

This is the most beautiful home we have ever stayed in after many years of using AirBnB and other vacation rental sites. The couple who welcomed us allowed for a late check-in and personally gave us a tour of the entire home, giving instructions of how to use all of the facilities. They also provided homemade bread, apples from their tree, and built a cute snowman. The furnishings were beautiful. Every detail of the home was a work of art. They thought of everything. We had full amenities provided for each day of our stay, and they even accommodated our last-minute request to extend our stay for another night. The home was very warm and comfortable, and they even had heated blankets for every bed and floor futon in the entire home that can sleep up to 10 guests. I highly recommend anyone going to Nagano area to stay here. It is very close to a couple ski resorts, fantastic restaurants, and family activities. There is even an onsen they recommended and provided coupons for free towels!
