We absolutely loved this house. It’s rare to feel so at home right away. The kitchen is beautiful, fully stocked… and can we talk about the COFFEE. So many wonderful options for coffee in the am right at your fingertips. There is a park just steps away and the river trail is such a bonus. We will definitely stay again when we are back in Ottawa! Thank you so much for having us!

The house was beautiful, a fair price, and in a great area. We had issues with a couple of the amenities (the hot tub was unplugged when we arrived and took a night to heat up and we couldn’t get the fireplace to work) but the host was very responsive to our questions about how to get things working. And even with those minor issues, we’re very happy we found the place. It was probably the nicest AirBnB we’ve stayed at. Part of the appeal of the house is that it’s clearly a real home lived in by real people. The only drawback of that is that the owners appear to have a cat, so that may be an issue for guests who are allergic.

thanks for having us! 3 kids and 3 dogs generally limits the options but we felt right at home with space for all.

The home was tidy, the beds and linens comfortable and clean, and overall we had a good stay. The hot tub was clean and worked well. There were many small things that could easily be fixed that would really bring the experience to another level; the character limit prevents listing them. The floors were quite dirty in places (a duvet set on the floor on first morning to make the bed came up covered in stuff) and the stairs were covered in animal hair. We were informed several days before our stay that the washing machine was not functioning. It was an essential for us. The alternatives proposed by the owner were not acceptable. Fortunately, it was repaired before our stay, but the ordeal caused a lot of stress and communicating with breathe didn't lessen it any. The neighbourhood is beautiful and it’s a very quiet street. The home is cozy and bright, lots of plants and interesting books. The huge living room couch was great for everyone to pile onto. Overall it was a decent stay.
