I don’t know where to begin on this one! First of all do not stay here if you’re driving, The parking in the neighbourhood is a complete nightmare and I had someone shouting at me and my daughter on the first night for parking in what I can only assume was their spot in the street. The apartment needs a few things fixed, the bathroom has a cleaning cupboard with a stinking mop inside it that creates a stench. Bed was supposed to be a queen size and the host argued with me all day that it was until I measured it and sent pictures. Dogs barking all night made for a terrible sleep. We checked out after one night and had paid for 11 nights, the host refused to give me any refund and would not change my reservation to one of their other apartments on the island despite me offering to pay more, I was told they had nothing available despite seeing their listings on Airbnb. I luckily managed to find a beautiful place to stay with a different host. I will never book with this company again
Eigentlich war alles okay. Zu beanstanden waren 2 Sachen, 1. Das Doppelbett war hart wie ein Brett, sodass meine Frau in das Einzelbett umziehen mußte. Es war Gottseidank ein weiteres Bett im anderen Zimmer da. 2. Ich meldete an einem Donnerstag, das die Neonröhre der Küchenbeleuchtung plötzlich defekt war. Die Reparatur erfolgte "schon" am Montag . So etwas ist zu lange. Diebeleuchtung der Dunstabzugshaube tat es von Anfang an nicht. Ich habe die Glühbirnen der Nachtischlampen genommen und eingesetzt. Bei einer techn Kontrolle vom Vermieter vor Einzug der Gäste wäre das aufgefallen. Trotz alledem ist die Wohnung und die Strandnahe Lage zu empfehlen. Wir haben wohl gefühlt. Ein Tipp noch, bei Vermittlung an deutsche Gäste wäre es sinnvoll den Fernseher so einzustellen das auch , zumindest, 1 deutsches Programm möglich ist. So das war es. Allen neuen Gästen wünschen wir eine schöne Zeit und besuchen sie das Restaurant " diner 1950" an der Promenade. MfG Knut und Maria Fiedler
We wanted a place to sleep while traveling around the island via bus. This town is perfect for this and on top the local beach was always almost empty, beatiful black sand, clean. Enough of restaurants to choose. And the house was just fine, nice, clean, easy to access. Thank you very much!
Mi estancia fue fantástica! La anfitriona me estaba esperando para darme la bienvenida, enseñarme el piso y darme algunas instrucciones. Tenía un montón de toallas limpias disponibles, mantas… todo estaba super ordenado y limpio. Había unas galletas de bienvenida y una botella de agua en la nevera, detalles que se agradecen. Disponía de todos los utensilios necesarios para cocinar y limpiar, incluida lavadora con lo necesario para usarla. La azotea tiene unas vistas muy bonitas. Mi estancia en el piso fue inmejorable! :) volvería sin dudar.

The town of Gran Tarajal is located in the municipality of Tuineje, on the east coast of the island and is the closest place to Africa, less than 100 kilometres.
It is the second most important town on the island, and is mainly a commercial and service centre, rather than a tourist resort.
It has a black sand beach (Blue Flag), more than a kilometre long, an important marina, and is, together with Puerto del Rosario and Morro Jable, the third commercial port that connects Fuerteventura with Gran Canaria and Tenerife.
Its promenade is excellent, with a wide gastronomic offer, from the fishermen's guild with freshly caught fish, to different bars and restaurants of Canarian and Italian food.
Gran Tarajal has all kinds of shops and supermarkets in the town centre, as well as several industrial areas on the outskirts with large supermarkets and other shops.
Excursions not to be missed are the climb up the mountain behind the football pitch, from where there is an exceptional view of the village, a visit to the Horno de Cal or the Faro de la Entallada, only 10 kilometres away.
The property is in front of the avenue of Gran Tarajal, the beach and the marina. With restaurants, supermarkets and all necessary services within walking distance.
