Place was perfect size, maintenance came right out. Cleaning supplies was the only thing that could have been improved on.

Upon entry house seemed beautiful.Not upon inspection.Kitchen has thick grease, non working oven, dirty rim toilets, thick dust everywhere, uncleaned carpets, molded towels, food on floors, table, used dental floss on floor and in bed,toys in bed,hair in shower AND BEDS,water bottles and hair products at beds,LIVING CRAWLING BUGS on beds, dead bugs in beds (silver fish, centipedes, etc),Cobwebs on ceilings and stairs, too much to list. We paid close to $7000 for a 3 night stay for a very special family event (sons wedding one hr away). Evolve did not respond to my initial message to have cleaning service come in to change bed sheets, towels, clean baths and floors. Took over two days and by then we checked out. Other family members left to stay in hotels rather then sleep w the insects. Airbnb responded and only abided by a 30% daily rate refund plus cleaning fee (ttl-$1800) and while evolve promised to “work diligently on making this right” they did not do any more. Embarrassed!

We were here for a family get-together. Our experience was good, but... First the positives… 1. Very spacious home. Did not feel crowded at all 2. Very comfortable beds. Good quality, clean linens and towels 3. Clearly labeled light switches and kitchen cabinets 4. Hartwell town is quite near for grocery shopping etc. 5. Property manager Erik lives close by 6. Lot of privacy 7. Convenient lake access with covered pier 8. Easy check-in Our biggest disappointment was the cleanliness, or the lack thereof. Dirty oven, dirty air fryer, dirty pans, dirty sink, dirty bath tubs, dusty steps, toilet bowl rings and a gas grill not cleaned in ages. We ended up doing lot of cleaning. The house needs a deep cleaning. We ended up having to buy propane to use the grill. Airbnb site indicated there is a gas grill; we expected it to be in working order. Overall, we enjoyed our get together, but left wondering if really got the value for the money we paid for the rental.

We had a wonderful time at the Lake! Eric the property manager was awesome, especially when our AC was not working on upper level he was very prompt to getting it fixed! Only complaint I had was the stove not working consistently, was told it was gonna be fixed for the next guest. After speaking with owner I’m confident they will take care of it. House is beautiful and was perfect for our group !! I would definitely book the house again!
