Great location, great house, great dock. Just a few items were in disrepair. Nothing that affected our stay and we had a great time, but could be better maintained.

This could be the perfect place. Loved the location, cove, and layout of the house. Bears Trace Golf is minutes away. The local contact was very responsive. Where it fell short: 1. "3-level deck" was under construction due to falling apart. It is now a 2-level deck with a roof. We know because we had to endure the workers build (but also fish) off the dock we weren't allowed to use (which was main reason we chose here). We were told we could cancel after making the 6-hour trip. Ultimately, workers left and we settled on a 25% credit. 2. The driveway is very difficult to manage if you have trucks or SUVs. Photos of front of house make this look level which it is not. 3. There was an infestation of lady bugs on main floor. Shows the owner isn't paying attention which is apparent in so many other parts of this house. 4. Be careful on main deck: Lack of handrail on steps, short steps that angle toward lake, shaky railing along top, and continuous electric shocks (electric not ground?).

Todo muy bonito solo un pequeño detalle que un cama estaba quebrada lo que es en el cuarto como de niños después de eso todo muy bien muy relajante a los niños les encantó un poco frío porque es invierno..estamos planeando volver en verano el lago precioso…

This house is beautiful and the boathouse is also very cool and well laid out. Furnishings were super comfortable including beds and linens. I would definitely stay here again but a few things could have been fixed before we arrived. There was some hornet issues, lots on the floor dead by the fireplace which didn’t work unfortunately. Later I was stung by a hornet twice as it was wrapped up in a blanket. Im glad I wasn’t allergic, it had been a long time since I was stung. Despite all of that I would recommend this Airbnb as the manger was very responsive and tried to get someone out to fix the issues but it was too short notice.

Our group had a great time staying at this home. We played golf nearby at the Bear Trace course which was fantastic for the price, and really enjoyed how "remote" the home felt while also being <10 minutes from a very nice grocery store. The home was clean and all the beds and furniture comfortable. Only complaint at times was there wasn't quite enough seating for 16 guests to all watch TV/Dine at the same time, but if you're willing to spread out and get creative you could make it work. The airbnb was very well stocked with pots/pans/cutlery/kitchen basics so we didn't need to supplement with anything. The dock and waterfront complete with a paddleboard and some floaties was great and we really enjoyed swimming and lounging on the middle level of the dock.
