Lovely heritage buildings and would have been magnificent in their day. We had the doggie cottage which was perfect for pets but general cleanliness for people was below standard.

A wonderful surprise find in the Southern Highlands. I loved it at Hillview - the location was unbeatable, the history of the property was fascinating and the garden and sculpture collection were both just amazing. The cottage was fairly basic as others have said (some of the other cottages there are much nicer), but the joy of staying in this unique environment more than made up for that. Do not miss a walk around the grounds, sit on the hill to watch the sunset and make sure to have Damien show you around the incredible old home, complete with its art and original furnishings. It is a very special place and one I look forward to returning to, next time with my dog! Damien could not have been more welcoming or helpful.
