I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at James place while staying in the area for work. The place was very homely with all the small touches like a well stocked kitchen equipment and plenty of coffee capsules for the duration of the stay. The place furnished well and really does provide a home away from home 😊
Very responsive hosts who were flexible in extending our stay in response to a family situation. Very soft towels and nice firm pillow. Recommended!
James and Iveta were wonderful, responsive and helpful hosts :) I couldn’t recommend a stay with them more!
Great place to stay
James and Iveta were excellent hosts. We felt right at home and the unit was very private and beautifully furnished. My wife and I had a wonderful time at Gums n Roses and we can recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice relaxing stay. Thank you James and Iveta for making us feel so welcome.

We are a computer geek family, at the moment living in Canberra. James is Australian and Iveta is Latvian. As guests we're quiet and considerate, down to earth and reasonable. As hosts we're helpful and accommodating. We both speak English, Iveta also speaks Latvian and Russian.
