We stayed at Michael’s for a 3 generation family holiday- 17 in all - aged 2 to 73 years. We had a great time and loved the pool and vineyard location. The house is old but handsome and spacious. The kitchen, although very well equipped for large numbers, has an awkward work area. The pool is great, it is 1.5m deep so make sure non swimmers have adequate swimming aids. The 6 children had plenty of room to play and run around. Easy walking distance to great boulangerie, local restaurant and handy small general store. Supermarkets a short drive away in Langon. Bordeaux well worth a visit and accessible by train. Michael was very responsive to enquiries and flexible with timings. Would have given 5 stars but outdoor furniture inadequate. Also, bedding could be more substantial and kitchen more user friendly. However, didn’t stop us having a fab time with leisurely outdoor evening meals in the beautiful vineyard setting.
