We came for the eclipse, and the rural location and space was fantastic. The house is exactly as described, old, but well kept; The kitchen was clean and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint is with the WiFi, it was provided by a cell phone hotspot, which made me feel uneasy. Other than that, it was a top-notch experience.

Loved the space overall! I’d give it 4.5 stars but there were a couple small details I wish we knew in advance. The shower was broken in one of the bathrooms and I messaged specifically asking about 2 full bathrooms because we had a good size group and never received a response. I booked anyway because the price was right and the space was what we wanted. The only details were that the twin beds were borderline unusable because they sunk in the middle (one guest slept on the couch the second night) and the gas stove had trouble lighting (one of the handles was broken which caused some issues). Otherwise, the place was adorable, and had I know these things in advance I probably would have still booked. Def lots of bugs (tick bites and asp stings occurred but are to be expected in the area and are not the fault of the property), we saw a tarantula on the porch (left it alone) and there are goats on the surrounding property (they were cute!). All in all, recommend and would stay again!
