Great location and dog friendly. However the place was not clean, the front door didn’t close and neither fireplace or grill worked. Considering above, not worth the price. Host was responsible and friendly.

Beautiful, cozy cabin! Very clean and the welcome basket of fruit and chips is a nice welcome! The decorations are amazing. Alot of neat collectibles! I'm a thrifter so I spent more time than most probably looking at everything. The trail to the lake is easy and worth the short walk. The availability to bring a dog is wonderful, and I might next time! Thanks again!

Hans’ place is wonderful, located in a beautiful neighborhood. It is very private, while also having some surroundings so you feel safe. The amenities are phenomenal, whether you want to go in the hot tub, make a fire, or watch a movie, it’s all there. This place makes you feel like you’re in a tree house on steroids.

We booked this property as a pre-Valentine get away. What a mistake. This property needs a deep clean and some updating. The listing photos made it look so interesting and homey. Upon entry we noticed mouse droppings on the kitchen counter and even in the flatware drawer! We were willing to overlook that (after we cleaned) because of the season and location. However, it became apparent that the property had not been properly cleaned - 100s of dead ladybugs all over the house and a previous pet had done its “business” in the house. Even though the bed was comfortable, location peaceful, the hot tub a great touch, and the fire pit under twinkle lights - it was negated by other gross things. Hans did refund 1/2 our cost, but how could he not? We won’t return and do not recommend.
