Golden’s Retreat was everything we could have asked for and more!!! The home was absolutely spotless, the appliances looked brand new and the bed was so comfortable. The photos do not do the views justice!!! The views from the porch, hot tub and living room are incredible. The neighborhood is quiet and secluded with multiple trails to walk/hike. The owners were so responsive and helpful! If you are looking for the perfect, quiet, relaxing mountain getaway- Golden’s Retreat is the cabin to book!!!
We had a wonderful time at Golden’s Retreat with our two golden retrievers Winnie & Wagner. The cabin was beautiful, immaculately clean, and had every kitchen item you could need. The views of the mountains from the cabin are beautiful & we enjoyed the peaceful quiet of the neighborhood. It rained prior to our trip and we had trouble getting up the steep gravel driveway, even in an SUV. We reached out to Evolve prior to booking & did not receive a clear answer about whether a 4 wheel drive was needed, but I would say yes it is. Other than that, everything about the cabin was perfect!
Goldens Retreat is an outstanding cabin and is at the top of our list of best cabins we ever stayed at. The layout, furniture, decor and amenities were top notch. Dishes, glasses, pots, pans and utensils were well above the typical quality and quantity we encountered in previous rentals. The gas range was near restaurant quality. Towels, soaps and cleaning materials were plentiful and of better quality than typically found in rentals. Bedding and great room furniture were wonderful. The little decorative pieces throughout the cabin were tasteful and really added to the ambience of the whole cabin. The purpose of our Christmas rental was to relax and spend time with our best friends. We did not avail ourselves of the hiking and scenic driving available, although there are many options including a nearby casino. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that our stay was memorable and an outstanding experience. We highly recommend Goldens Retreat with no reservations!
