Step through a gate into a secluded courtyard garden, and enter a secret world of where you can enjoy the shade of our vines, roses and fig tree. Detached and extremely private, the house offers clean lines and calm spaces. The eat-in kitchen faces south across the private courtyard and is flooded with light. The living space includes an ancient fireplace, cozy seating and a further dining area. Two separate staircases lead up to three light and airy bedrooms which can comfortably accommodate six guests in various formats. Whether it's lunch outside under the pergola, or evenings spent around the fire, La Maison du Figuier offers a unique place to truly unwind all year round. All our bedrooms are on the first floor, and welcome you with clean, hypoallergenic bedding, including pillows and duvets. While most guests bring their own sheets and towels, linen hire (bed linen, towels, bath linen) can be arranged with the housekeeper directly in advance of your stay. Chambre Blanche Overlooking the fig tree and the courtyard garden, the south-west facing master bedroom has a large double bed measuring 160cm by 200cm, with a four season duvet set measuring 240x220cm and two pillows measuring 65x65cm. It is accessed from the kitchen by its own private staircase. A toilet and shower room are also available at the base of the stairs. There is ample room for a cot. A Baby Dan folding travel cot is available for any infants travelling with you. The bedroom has set of doors to the Green Room, which is useful for parents of small children, but also can be closed off and locked if needed to create a private space. Chambre Grise This charming and versatile room features a large double bed measuring 160cm by 200cm, with a four season duvet set measuring 240x220cm and two pillows measuring 65x65cm. Additionally, on the mezzanine sleeping platform, you'll find a further full sized single bed measuring 90cm by 190cm, with duvet measuring 140x200cm and a pillow measuring 65x65cm. In addition to the two beds, the room also fits a cot. Chambre Verte Light and airy, this spacious family room features a bunk bed with two full sized singles mattresses measuring 90cm by 190cm, with duvets measuring 140x200cm and pillows measuring 65x65cm. A third retractable bed measuring 90cm by 190cm, with a duvet measuring 140x200cm and pillow measuring 65x65cm, slides out from underneath the bunk. The Chambre Verte can either be is accessed from the main staircase, or via a second door that leads to the Chambre Blanche. Whilst this additional door can be closed off, this flexible arrangement a feature that parents of younger children will find particularly useful. The room also fits a cot. Bathrooms Upstairs there is a modern and minimalist bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. Downstairs there is an additional shower room and a separate toilet.
