David’s house has a true peacefulness about it as soon as you walk in. The tranquil surrounds make this a relaxing location, very quiet area away from the tourist strip but only a short drive away from supermarket and takeaway. This spacious house also has a huge supply of crockery and cutlery with large tables to eat at, both inside and on the large deck. The beds were also very comfortable. The pool was throughly enjoyed by our family as well. David and Kim were both so helpful during our stay, Kim greeted us on arrival and was helpful with any questions we had and were quick to find solutions for us during our stay. The only negative for us was the local mosquitoes wanting to visit, so insect repellent is definitely required. Not all windows are screened so the mosquitoes prevented us from enjoying a cool breeze throughout the house in the evenings. I would certainly recommend David’s house for a family or large group, it certainly has enough space to fit 10 people comfortably.

Lovely old Queenslander in a quiet location surrounded by nature. Super comfy sleeping and great amenities! Really enjoyed our retreat!

David's place was massive and very unique. The house is old but doesn't mean it's uncomfortable or inconvenient. As soon as I arrived, David welcomed my group and showed us the whole place room by room. The house has everything needed for a comfortable stay in a quiet area. He responded whenever I had a question right away and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole stay.
